ABOUT US
The Rideau Skating Club is sanctioned by Skate Canada and is part of the Ontario Section.
We are proud to be celebrating our 50th season of providing high-quality skating programs to our community!
The Rideau Skating Club has more than 500 members and operates primarily out of the Manotick Arena, with some sessions held at the Fred Barrett Arena on Leitrim Road from September through the end of April, as well as during the summer months.
We welcome skaters of all abilities, from entry-level recreational skaters to competitive athletes, and support them in reaching their full potential.
PROGRAMS
CANSKATE
A foundational skating program focused on balance, control, and agility for beginners of all ages.
STARSKATE
A figure skating program offering skill development in freeskate, dance, and skating skills.
ADULTSKATE
CanSkate (Age 12+) and STARSkate (Age 18+) adult programs are offered for those new or returning to skating.
